ADC Cubs report to the District AGM
June 2011
I was asked before Christmas by Philip to move up to ADC Cub Scouts, from being District Cub Scout Leader.
After considerable thought; in January this year, I accepted the role.
I have held one "Get to know you" meeting and have visited each of the ten packs seeing a variety of activities: ice games, plays, wide games and a Ghost-Walk around Farnham, to mention only a few. Wood Badges have been presented to four leaders on completing their training. Several Cub Scouts have earned and been presented with their highest award, the Silver Chief Scout Award. Well done to you all.
Since my appointment, Philip has asked Chris Moss to be your District Cub Scout Leader, which she has accepted. I am sure we shall be a strong team supporting the Cubs in the coming year.
Thanks are due to all the leaders and helpers for providing a balanced programme to all the 254 Cubs in Farnham, the young people who are our inspiration.
